The new house adventure

Whoever said that buying your first house is exciting obviously had a much better experience than we are having. We were supposed to close on our house this morning, and instead, we spent the day sitting in a house that was packed up and ready to be moved. Although we have stayed on top of everything and were told "just wait," at the last minute- if it could have gone wrong, it did! First off, we had the inspector go out and they found things that needed to be fixed. Rather than cooperating, the builder wanted to argue because we had the inspection done. I am so glad that we did, though. There wasn't a lot of major things, but a lot of little things like bathtub faucets that leak and a dishwasher that didn't work. Because this is a brand new house, I did not expect to deal with these issues. Anyway..we are back to playing the waiting game again. Hopefully we will hear something tomorrow and be able to start moving all of the boxes that we have piled up. Maybe then I will be excited.

I can get dressed by myself!!!

These days it is nearly impossible to get Payten dressed without hearing her say "I can do it by myself!" On days when I don't have an ounce of energy to argue with her I give up and let her do it. No telling what combination she will choose. Undoubltibly the color pink will be involved somehow. Sunday afternoon we went to my Mom and Dad's house and she wanted to pick her outfit so she could go play ball outside with her grandma. As you can see, pink was definitely the color of the day. The red shoes and her grandpa's hat are great accessories-don't you think?

Pig Sooee!!!!!!!!!RAZORBACKS

Oaky, so anybody that knows us, knows that we are huge Razorback fans. Here is a picture of Seth and Abby (one of the little girls that is at Ms. Linda's house with him) in their Razorback outfits. He's the football player and she is the cheerleader. GO HOGS!!!!!!!

Seth's Crawling

I remeber when Payten started to crawl- life changed. You go from having this life where you can sit her in a room and know that when you come back she is going to be right where you left her to constantly looking at every little thing in the room because you know that if you leave for a second disaster may occur. I find myself in this cross-roads of life once again with number two. Although he is not quick today, I know that that will change in a matter of a few weeks. He does not life to be confined in any way-practicing his new skills is more fun.

Payten-The little Mommy

Payten is really in to dolls and playing "mommy" these days. She came running in from playing to tell me that she had a baby in her tummy......as you can see.

Bannanas or Peas

He likes bannanas.
Not so sure about peas.

Okay, so it will probably not come as a surprise that Seth loves to eat. He has had carrots, squash, sweet potatos, bannanas and peas. He lives all except for the peas-I guess he takes after his Mama in that way. (I hate peas) He is growing really well and is very healthy. He is about 16 pds and ready to crawl any day. Here are a few pictures that will give an idea of his love for bannanas and not so much for peas.
