Splish Splash.....

We were taking a bath! One of Payten's favorite past times is playing in the bath tub. Seth has recently started to join her, as he has learned that he can't put his face in the water and still breath (and yes, he has tried it.) Here are a few pictures from tonight's bathtime adventure.

They were fighting over the plastic bowl. He sure knows how to put up a fight. I can already see I am in for it!
Happy as a clam!
She likes to see how many times she has to squeeze the water out the washcloth to fill up the bowl.

Sleeping beauties

I hope I'm not the only mother in the world that sneaks into her children's rooms after they have gone to sleep to take a peek. It is one of my favorite things in the world. Everything is so peaceful, and they melt my heart.

These pictures were taken last week, but I have an update since then. Payten has finally given up her binkie!!! I wasn't sure this day would come. I vowed to not give one to Seth because it has taken her so long to give it up. She has only been using it when she sleeps at night for the last year or so, but I'm glad it's over. We gathered them all up and told her that we were going to send them to the hospital with Daddy to give to all the sick babies. She loved the idea, and got really excited that she could help them get better. Obviously, we really didn't take them to the hospital, but the idea worked.

She gets about 10 books together and gets on the floor. Here she had her feet in her closet.
This is one of her favorite things to do right before she goes to bed. I make her into a butterly with all of her blankies. And yes.....she has 3 of them.

Seth riding the duck

My mom has had this duck (or goose, I'm not sure which) ever since I can remember. Seth has recently discovered that it is fun toy to play on. He likes for someone to put him on top and then he bounces up and down. It is so cute because it only lasts for about 30 seconds, and then he falls face first into the ground. He laughs and laughs.

Payten's first day of Primary

Last Sunday, Jan 7th, was Payten's first day of Primary at church. She was so excited to go. At first, she was little shy, but when I went to go get her after church, she threw a fit because she did not want to leave. I just snapped a couple of pictures before we left for church so that I would remember what she looked like on her first day.
